street art museum Munich

„Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.“

In the heart of Munich, the AMUSEUM of Contemporary Art, under the artistic direction of Sebastian Pohl, presents, communicates and discusses progressive and avant-garde art within a museum context – with a clear focus on socially relevant issues and the challenges of the 21st century.

Our future objectives include the conception and realization of further solo and group exhibitions with internationally renowned artists, as well as the development of substantial publications, the organization and hosting of panel discussions, and the realization of accompanying events at an international level.
Public relations and art education are integral components of our museum operations. With free admission, our aim is to facilitate an open discourse between the public, art and its subject matter, regardless of background or age.

As part of the realization of future projects, we are looking for committed individuals interested in long-term collaboration in the areas of visitor services, art education and public relations, and offer project-based collaboration in an intellectually challenging and inspiring environment. This includes, among other things, the opportunity to work with internationally renowned artists, cultural practitioners and art activists.
